Amanda North

Director of Lab Operations

Oilfield Labs of America, LLC

Amanda North graduated with a master's degree in Applied Mathematics with an Industrial Specialization from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in 2010.  Over the past 9 years she transitioned from working with the Department of Energy's Nuclear Waste Disposal program to the oilfield sector where she gained experience in field troubleshooting, laboratory method development and management, and data interpretation.  Her most recent work has been with a third party laboratory and consulting group based in the heart of the Permian - Oilfield Labs of America (OLA).  OLA is a specialty lab with 3 locations across the MidCon,  the Rockies/Bakken, and the Permian basin that has built its program on unbiased analyses and performance programs.  Her role as Director of Laboratory Operations has allowed her to apply her industry knowledge and experience to the expansion of their flagship lab, as well as the expansion of the program across other regions.  Working directly with operators within the industry has allowed both OLA and Amanda to take testing, monitoring work, and consulting to a higher level by providing their customers with an entire technical team and laboratory network to support healthy operations upstream, midstream, and downstream.
